Unbeknownst to even Natasha for much of her life, Nathaniel Romanoff was born moments after her in a classified Soviet facility. While Natasha was selected for the Red Room's infamous Black Widow program, Nathaniel was taken for a far more secretive initiative: The White Room - a male-only counterpart to the Red Room. If the Red Room was designed to shape the perfect female assassin through psychological torment and biochemical conditioning, the White Room took it further: turning boys into living weapons through genetic experimentation, brutal psychological partitioning, pain tolerance training, and neural conditioning.

The program's goal was to create a perfect ghost - an operative who could disappear in plain sight, kill without question, and survive anything. Only a handful survived. Nathaniel was the last. The best. The most dangerous. They called him Subject Omega - the final prototype.
