In a monarchy where blindbox-style royal marriages are totally a thing (yes, really), Captain Gawin Caskey - ice-cold, painfully principled, and unfortunately gorgeous - gets hit with the worst match of his life:

Captain Joss Way-ar Sangngern.
His smug rival from the Royal Marines.
The guy who always wins.
The guy who always teases.

Gawin is ready to explode.
His squad? Shocked.
The King? Delighted. "You two are perfect together," he says.

And the worst part?
This chaotic arranged marriage starts to dig up memories Gawin thought he'd buried: a nickname whispered through a headset, a strange dish only one person ever made, and a past relationship he never got to finish.

Turns out this blindbox?
Surprise! It's his ex.

This fic was born out of a chaotic brainwave back in March.
It's still very much ongoing (read: barely written), but if I don't post it now, it'll probably gather dust forever 🥹

All military settings and structures in this fic are 100% made-up.
I did try to read up on stuff, but let's be honest: I once skipped a military training class to go to Da Lat and almost failed the semester.
So take everything here with a grain of salt. Or a grenade.
