A Sword of Dusk and Ice

In the shadow of the coming war, a girl with violet eyes wanders Westeros, searching for purpose. Nyalara "Nya" was raised by a sworn knight of House Dayne, never told her true name or the legacy she carries. After her mother Ashara Dayne died, fearing what the realm would do to her daughter, she made sure Nya would grow up hidden, safe-and forgotten.

But Nya was never meant to be ordinary. She dreams of stars and swords. Of a white blade named Dawn. Of blood in the snow.

When Eddard Stark sees her in King's Landing, he recognizes her immediately and urges her to flee north. There, in Winterfell, she meets his son Robb Stark-headstrong, noble, and on the cusp of war.
