Pearl the Charmander has no memories of her past, but has some working theories to who she is. First, she suspects she was a human. Second, she had to find a Grovyle or Treecko who might know who she is. 

She meets a Pikachu, named Pika, who decides to help her find her past and convinces her to join the local exploration guild, thinking that might help her find something or some Pokémon that can jog her memory.

But, amidst the ventures the duo and their other two members of their team face, strange things start happening to Pearl. She can see through time, though unwillingly and without much control.

When time starts to stop, and Pokémon come back from the future for different agendas, Pearl learns her history... and has to decide if she is going to follow through what her past self had promised, or let survival take precedence.

Pattie also finds that instead of being human, she has become a Pokémon! After going into a place called Beach Cave to find two crooks who steal something very important to Blazie, they get the help of an Espeon named Elyon to get it back. The three become friends after they get the treasure of Blazie's back. Pattie teams up with Blazie and Elyon to become a member at Wigglytuff's Guild, one of the best Rescuing Guilds around the world, trying to figure out her past, and how she turned from human to Pokémon.

Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. But of course, the dark forces will seek to snuff out any potential light at the end of the tunnel. Dialga, now gone primal, seeks his own self preservation, even if it includes commanding a Pokémon suffering through grief to do his bidding. Learn of the story of the Pokémon of the future, of the Treecko who would partner with a human to change history, of how friends would turn into enemies and how things played out from their perspective. The plot of this fic is loosely based on the ROM Hack "Special Episode 0: In A Dark Past", with changes to the tone being somewhat less dark and alternative characters in different roles. She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. This involves having to get involved with an evil organization that wants to destroy the world. Happiness will have to wait, since there is willpower that needs to be awaken.
