4 All The Sistas Around Da World: Radiah and DeVante

In the late 1980s, childhood friends: outgoing LaShawn Shellman, vivacious Melissa Elliott, ambitious Chonita Coleman and the softspoken, and shy Radiah Scott are four neighborhood girls looking to leave behind the country atmosphere of Portsmouth, Virginia for the bright lights of New York City! Their luck changes when they go to a Jodeci concert in 1991. They talk their way backstage, face to face with DeVante Swing, the mastermind of Jodeci, He's blown away not only by their singing, but by Radiah in particular. They're signed to his label Swing Mob, where Radiah finds herself becoming attracted to DeVante, but things don't go well as planned.
