Not all of the Man in the Moon's creations are as simple as the Guardians. Vera Night is a perfect example of this. Alone for over a thousand years, ignored and misunderstood by all of her fellow spirits. That's to be expected of the Grim Reaper though, right? But when she is chosen to stand with the Guardians to fight a force more deadly than Pitch Black himself, she is given the chance to change her thus far dark existence, but can she take the leap of faith it takes to get there?

(CURRENTLY UNDER EDITING AND A BIT OF RECONSTRUCTING BEFORE I CONTINUE ON AND FINISH THE STORY!!! RECONSTRUCTION INCLUDES THE DELETING OF A CHARACTER, SO IF YOU READ A CHAPTER AND SUDDENLY FIND A CHARACTER YOU DON'T KNOW, IT MEAN'S IT HAVEN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO THAT CHAPTER YET!!!)

Ravin: not a guardian but the man in the moon seems to think so. Michael: not a guardian but thinks he could be one but what does the man in the moon think? Ravin and Michael are brother and sister to the death literally. Driving home one night a cloaked figure causes her brother and her parents to flip the car causing the parents deaths instantly. While Raven fights the man her brother saves her by sacrificing himself. 3 dead one remaining, just when she thinks she won she is cut down leaving all 4 dead within the same night but what if that night causes the future to be altered? What if two guardians are chosen instead of on or what if only one is chosen? The guardians never officially met them well they met Michael but his sister? What happens when manny makes their paths cross? SO MANY DAM QUESTIONS JUST READ THE BOOK I PROMISE ITS GOOD! (I don't own rise of the guardians or the franchise so chill I am not stealing their stuff). Plus I don't care if there spelling or grammar errors so don't bother commenting about them I did this story fast for my little cousin because she loves rise of the guardians and wanted her own character in with them. So yeah if you don't like it I don't care it wasn't written for you just her she wanted me to publish it tho so everyone could read it, isn't that nice? Still keep your rude comments to yourselves because I won't be reading them. If it's a nice one I'll comment back if you want. Anywho hope you guys enjoy if you read it if not oh well try another book. lol

Conscious isn't any normal human. In fact, she isn't human at all. She is a guardian, but unlike most, she is invisible to all, because no one has ever believed in her. The only two guardians who have ever seen her, or spoke to her are the Man in the Moon, and Pitch. After the Dark Ages, she went into hiding, staying to forests and abandoned villages, staying out of sight, only exploring the modern world to bug Pitch. When she travels out of her hiding place to bug Pitch, and crosses paths with the current Guardians, and is able to be seen by them, will, or can she come to terms with her pending fading, or will she hide it, especially when she starts feeling something stronger then friendship towards one of the guardians, who she promised herself not to hurt.
