Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. Also the cover was made by @RubyFireheartPhoenix who also does some good stories!!

"Even though I love the staring, I'm not going anywhere aibou." Yugi is depressed because of Atem's leaving his world. Yugi knows that he is in a better place, but never had a chance to tell Atem about his true feelings for him. "I really can't thank you enough for staying by my side when everything happened, even when I pushed you guys away." Yugi discovers his heart disease, but wont be able to collect enough money for his treatment. He doesn't tell his friends about his condition, hoping they don't find out or ask about it. "I'm glad that both of you are happy together. Just know if you need anything from me, never hesitate to ask." Three years pass while Yugi is in more pain, only then his friends ask more about what is going on. Yugi won't tell them anything about it, but what happens when a familiar face returns. "As you wish." I don't own Yugioh, only the plot. I also don't own the picture on the cover, thanks to the the artist.

Yami Atem, a once cruel and heartless king, was obsessed with power and therefore, only cared for himself. However, because of his cold heart and selfish ways, he paid the ultimate price: Becoming a hideous dragon beast. Now Yami has one year to make things right by falling in love with another, who will return those same affections, otherwise he will remain with the doomed fate of staying a dragon beast forever. However, due to his ghastly form, he has locked himself away in his castle, abandoning the idea that he could break this curse, for who could ever love a beast such as he? Yugi Motou is a young man who only wishes for someone to understand what it's like to be an outcast, to be misunderstood by the world all because you're different in some way. A hikari cannot live without a yami. A hikari without a yami has a year to live and will slowly vanish, the said hikari will become particles of lights before completely gone like a candlelight that has burned out. It has been a month since Yugi has live on her own without her yamis. She lost her friends thanks to a lie that Vivian and Anzu spread and to make things worse her grandfather was died due to an accident back in Egypt. Everyday that has pass makes Yugi's condition worsen to the point that Dark Magician is pissed at Atem and Yami and makes a decision to look after his Mistress Yugi in placed of them. Will they realize their mistake before Yugi's time runs out or will Yugi die in vain? [A/N]: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! but the story plot is mine and nope I don't hate any Yu-Gi-Oh Characters, I just have my most favorite to least. This is all a pure fanfiction, none of this really happened in the real story :)
