His head shot up and his tearful eyes met mine "How much what?" he whispered back. I shrugged and held my arms around my body, almost to comfort myself "How much was the bet for?" His eyes widened and he let out an exasperated sigh "W-W-hat?" "Well I want to know how much I'm worth." It pained me to ask this question but I wanted to be strong. He shook his head and hesitated a few times before finally speaking "It doesn't matter Emma, your priceless to me. You mean everything -" I held up my hand to cut him off "So you were willing to risk something that meant everything to you for something that means absolutely nothing? Please tell me what you risked me for?!" He sighed and looked at the floor, clearly in shame. "A thousand dollars and the pink slips to Brads car..." * * * Tyler Davis made a bet and it changed his life forever. Before he knew it he was too deep in and this beautifully over protected girl was making him regret ever having any part in some stupid high school bet. He didn't want to loose her. He couldn't, he did everything in his power to make her stay, but was it enough? Emma Hendrix opened herself to the popular playboy and their schools sexiest quarterback despite everything in her body telling her not to. She trusted him and where did that trust get her? ⚠️ MATURE AUDIENCES 16 YEARS & UP!⚠️ Start Date: November 2018 Finish Date: July 8th, 2019

Keep yourself safe first. TW~ abuse, eating disorder, body image issues, spiritual abuse, rape. I will try to update this list if anything needs to be added Also this is going to be like the opposite of those books romanticizing super strict religious lives. Nothing against them if it works for you, those views just aren't going to be in this book. Some of this story will be based on my own experiences dealing with some of the aspects of this story.

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

I was a dead soul in the body of a youth. I would have cried if I was strong enough, but I was not... We both knew the pain too well. She was an anomaly and I was a reject. We may seem desperate for something more, but we both want a future. She wondered if she would ever find true happiness again. I wondered if anyone would accept me for who I truly was."
