 She thought for a moment. "Men call us elves."

Alyssa was ever the rebel, with other dreams than being queen. Like having an adventure. She knew it was never going to happen, until... it did. On her thirteenth birthday she fell into a canyon and found a myth. Two years later, she rode right into it. 

This is the first part in a seven-book series. Constructive criticism is very welcome; I seek to improve. I try to update at least once a week.

This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

I wrote this a couple years ago for this annual contest, which actually is just about to start again august 1st-31st, it's called The Owl Canyon Publishing Contest, you are given a beginning and ending paragraph and you are supposed to write 48 paragraphs in between to connect them, you cannot use dialogue and it HAS to be 48 paragraphs, no more, no less. This was my first time doing it and i had A LOT of fun, I really took those judgers for the contest for a whirl with the 48 paragraphs i wrote. And for the first time ever, YOU CAN TOO!
