🌸 So far, so good. Despite everything, Madeline's still standing, still living - though her life has been upended more than once. Moving from America to England wasn't exactly easy but oddly enough, the return was much simpler. With little more than the bare minimum from her parents, and diabetes always complicating things, she had to rely on her brother for real help. Now, as she steps back into Nashville, she wonders how this might realign her path. Somehow, everything feels like it's falling into place. She's exactly where she needs to be - though there's one complication : a boy. Something she didn't planned at all. And maybe he's part of the plan, too. Maybe for the better. 🏒 Hockey has always been one of Jude's greatest loves, ever since he can remember. And to be blunt, he's damn good at it. But don't mistake him for the typical player type you read about in books. He doesn't have girls lining up outside his door, and when there is someone, he treats her right - once, and only once. It's a rule he set for himself. He met his best friend Colin during a hockey game, both rooting for opposite teams. Colin was on the wrong side, of course, but somehow, they became inseparable. Colin has diabetes, so over time, he learned how to help. What he didn't expect was for that knowledge to help him with a girl. A girl more complicated than any genetic disease. But maybe that's a challenge worth taking. ° ° ° Welcome to this new book. Please don't forget to vote, comment and share ❤️

Alyssa Henderson's life is all about balance. As a 25-year-old single mother to an energetic eight-year-old son, Liam, she juggles two demanding jobs-one as a paralegal, the other waiting tables at a local restaurant. The exhaustion is constant, but Alyssa wouldn't have it any other way. Everything she does is for Liam, and when an opportunity arises to attend an event for his favorite NHL team, the Colorado Yeti, she can't resist. It's a small moment of joy in their busy lives, and meeting one of Liam's heroes, defenseman Justin Myers, is an unexpected bonus. Justin Myers, a 32 year old NHL player, seems like the epitome of success-strong, confident, and at the top of his game. But beneath the polished image lies a man struggling to piece his life back together after a painful divorce. When their paths cross again and again, Alyssa brushes off the encounters as nothing more than coincidence, a brief glimpse into the world of professional hockey that her son will never forget. But as the seasons change, so do their lives. With each meeting, Alyssa and Justin begin to see each other in a new light. She's fiercely independent, protective of her heart, and wary of anything that could upset the fragile world she's working so hard to build. He's navigating his own heartbreak, unsure of what's to come for him and his daughters. In the middle of hectic schedules, late-night shifts, and the whirlwind of their separate lives, Alyssa and Justin begin to realize that love-like hockey-is all about timing, trust, and learning how to skate through the rough patches together. Hie, so this story is a fan-fiction, but a little different. It does have to do with hockey, and the Chicago Blackhawks, but it will have a few other hockey players. I hope it's good, comment in the end if it was, or is! :D Hey, I'm Cori, no not Corey Crawford. I mean he is amazing, but no, not me. I came from Dallas to Chicago, it's ok so far. School will start, my dad says that I'll get a better hockey team, and education at it. I love hockey. Live and breath it. I did play on a girls team in Dallas, it was really fun. But I guess not as good as my high school senior year was, with the Chicago boys on my team...I'll miss that team. All of them. If u didn't know, I'm a girl, not a guy, and it was and still is fun playing hockey, with guys. There are people in your life that you don't wanna ever let go of. That was my case in this scenario... P.S. (If u didn't notice the way I wrote the teaser for the story then I'll just tell you. It was present tense, and then into past tense. Get your focus on!) THERE ARE SOME RANDOM PARTS IN THE STORY, SO IF IT SOUNDS STUPID, OR IS SUPPOSED TO BE, THEN IT WAS PROBABLY A RANDOM PART! XD
