In the sea lived a lonely Siren named link, all he wanted in life was a companion but he was shunned by other sirens due to the fact that he did not like when people fell victim to the sirens calls. he felt shame and sadness whenever someone would jump ship and meet their untimely death. he tried his hardest not to be like the other sirens, he tried to refrain from using his call but it was in his blood, it was only natural. whenever sailors or pirates would come near his caverns he would try to hide, he would cling to rocks and press his clammy face to them so he would not be able to sing but he failed miserably and the song would consume his small scaly body. many sailors and pirates fell to their deaths among the jagged rocks due to his entrancing song. he felt as though he would die alone unless he gave up and became like all of the other sirens, but all of that was about to change.

Captain McLaughlin stood upon his ship, looking out across the sea. his hand gripped his hat as the wind whipped around him. there was a storm coming in faster than the speed of light, he knew the ship would take a beating this evening. he motioned for his first mate to come over to him and then waited as the man shuffled about on his good leg while his wooden one scratched along the floorboards.

he made signs with his hands telling the other man what needed to be done.

A mysterious castaway. A Scottish hero determined to protect her. Can they survive the storm? Cast adrift on the Indian Ocean, Maria carries a terrible secret. Wherever she goes, death soon follows, and she's powerless to prevent it. William McGregor boarded the SS Trevessa in search of adventure, but he gets more than he bargained for when he saves the mysterious Maria from the sea. She can't tell them her tragic tale, so the superstitious sailors make up their own stories - and some would sacrifice her to the waves to save themselves from the coming storm. When the sharks start circling and the storm closes in, are sirens more than just a myth? A tiny taste of what's in store: My defiance was futile. What did it get me? A small raft drifting across the Indian Ocean, with nothing but the sound of waves and the smell of salt and coal-smoke. Smoke meant a ship. I was saved. I squinted into the sunlight, but the waves hid the vessel from me. Maybe I was looking the wrong way. I didn't have the strength to sit up and see. Rough hands seized me. I struggled, but my weakness won. Blue eyes drifted above, the same colour as the ocean below. A tangle of wiry seaweed obscured the rest of the man's face. "It's all right, lass. I'll take care of you." Darkness took me first. This book has been published and is available wherever you buy good ebooks. All Hitoshi'd ever wanted was to see a siren up close. Ever since he'd first heard about them as a kid, regardless of all the "𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘯, 𝘣𝘰𝘺. Sirens are foretold to be breathtakingly beautiful, enchanting, and merciless with their victims. A siren's voice is like poison to their prey: it consumes, it tortures, it destroys. To give mercy to the humans is to be weak, but mercy is all their Princess is made of. Aelila Corearien is the opposite of any other siren. She's selfless, affectionate, incapable of a kill: weak. When the humans poison her kind with a new deadly weapon after years of not attacking, it costs Aelila one of her own and her mother's impending wrath.
