After facing disastrous consequences from her decision to rescue the children from Stillens' manor with only her friends, Astra Lestrange decides she's done letting people die for her. She and James Potter disappear, hoping to find Wren Predatel and keep the rest of their friends safe. They soon come to realize that avoiding danger, to themselves or others, may be harder than they thought.

As Astra and James traverse the countryside, Wren is dealing with her own personal hell. Her uncle does not like being crossed, and she knows it's only a matter of time until she breaks. She's determined to not let that happen. Meanwhile, Albus Potter and Colette St. Pierre are left to pick up the pieces at a Hogwarts missing far too many of their friends, and harboring far too many of their enemies.

With new dangers and complications arising left and right, the hope of defeating Stillens seems to grow more dim with each passing day. Will the help of unexpected friends be enough to unite a scattered resistance and defeat the greatest evil the wizarding world has seen in decades?

The Daily Prophet Issue No. 101,770 3 July 2021 Lestrange: Model or Menace? After recent events at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it should not surprise readers to find Miss Astra Lestrange making the news once more. Where newsworthy trouble at Hogwarts brews, the little "heroine" never seems to be far. This alone has caused many at this paper to scratch their heads, but now there's call for more than that. As hype over the attack had died down, Lestrange has come up with more and more outlandish tales of what she claims happened to her that night, including madmen that no one has heard of and a much more subversive agenda behind the known terrorists', the Predatels, cause than evidence points to (an agenda that features her as a prominent part, it should be noted). We at the Prophet have found this a disturbing development, leaving many to wonder if there's more to Astra Lestrange than her do-gooder facade... ~~~~ Made out to be a liar and danger by the media, Astra Lestrange's credibility has dropped to exactly zero in the eyes of the public. She's left helpless, fighting a seemingly impossible battle against the Ministry of Magic. Harry Potter is on her side, of course, but that has left him on shaky ground with the Ministry. He's had to resort to outside means to stop Caymus Stillens, but even that seems to be a losing battle. Even without her fall from grace, Astra would have had a tough year in store. On top of her OWLs, a new rival in Eris Prince, and a controversial new member on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Astra escaped from Stillens last year. And no one escapes from Caymus Stillens with their life. At least, not for long. As the year progresses and her fight with the Ministry is overshadowed by a fight for her life, Astra begins to suspect that all is not well inside Hogwarts. Could it be that she's been betrayed again? Started: 2/25/17 Ended: 4/21/18
