You are the Flowing Alchemist, one of the strongest state alchemists. You can pick up the skills of any alchemists as long as they are by your side. You also have the ability to transmute without the circle. You also have automail limbs... I think we all know what that means. 
After losing everything you become a state alchemist and Hughes' Lt. You also meet the Elric brothers and become caught up in their search for a philosophers stone. 

Used to be an Edward x Reader fanfic but I'm editing it now. There is no more romance between Ed and the reader. Slowly going through the chapters and editing them, they're marked with <edited> so if you're reading this for the first time then I recommend not reading a chapter until it's edited because the plot is changing drastically and it probably wont make any sense if you read it unedited.All Rights Reserved

What will happen when she meets Edward Elric who took the test when he was 12 and she finds out he and his brother Alphonse also attempted human transmutation and are trying to get their bodies back. While F/N does not seek the return of her legs, actually preferring the automail replacements, she can't help but be curious about both of the brothers, but especially Edward, even if at first they clash more than getting along. "We're going to bring her back." ~ Something weird is up. Your powerful alchemy powers were admired all through the land, and yet no one seems to know what alchemy is. That is, until you meet Edward Elric and his brother, Alphonse Elric. The two are fascinated yet understanding of your powers, and Ed is able to teach you some alchemy, though he won't tell you how he knows. Through many hardships with the Elric brothers, you begin to grow close to them, and even start to fall for Al, but he doesn't feel the same. Ed, though, falls for you, and you couldn't help but feel bad. You don't realize how you feel about him.
