Set in the 1940s, during WWII

Mitch Grassi is a household name, absolutely. Everyone knows him, everyone LOVES him, except the government. Being fully out AND a Jew, Mitch's extermination is of the essence. 

Scott Hoying, Aryan pureblood. His whole life, he has been raised under anti-Semitic and closed-minded ideals. To his family, Mitch Grassi is an abomination in more ways than one. But to Scott? Well, Scott just wants to find solace in music. 

Fat chance. When Nazi Germany takes a desperate turn for the worst, can Scott shake clear the fog of his upbringing?  Will Mitch be able to survive the Nazis' dire attempts to exterminate him? Will he be able to show Scott the beauty he never saw in the world? Will Scott be able to wish upon a fallen star, to save one?

"Dear Scott, I always knew you and Mitch would end up together. I know we never officially met, but Kirstie told me all about you. She said that you and Mitch will love each other and will be perfect together. If that's true, Scott, I want you to promise me a couple of things. I want you to promise me that you'll always make Mitch happy, whether it's in a marriage, relationship, or friendship. I want you to promise you'll never give up on him.
