"Sorry for the bother. I'm Percy, son of Poseidon. Now tell me kiddo, what's your name?"

There were still some murmurs in the group of campers.

"Thalassa", I answered.

He looked back at the pegasi and said, "Yes, Blackjack. You'll get doughnuts later."

Then he turned to me and said, "You know Thalassa, Blackjack and Guido seem to be very fond of you."

It took me a moment to realise he talked to Blackjack and I blurted,

"You can understand them too?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few months after the war, a new fourteen year old demigod named Thalassa shows up at Camp Half-Blood. She was claimed by Poseidon and immediately picks up on the tension between Nico di Angelo and Will Solace. Thalassa, Jason, and Percy attempt to get the two oblivious campers together while she has to deal with her own problems. That would be the following:
1. There is a certain camper who catches her eye.
2. The camp treats her like an outcast.
3. She is included in a prophecy no one understands.
Rick Riordan owns all characters except Thalassa and Màgos.
Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Spoilers for basically every Percy Jackson book, including Tower of Nero. ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ death, homophobia, mental health issues that includes but not limited to PTSD and depression, heavy angst later on, brief harassment and brief physical violence (someone gets slapped once). Thank you so much, Selene (aka @riptide2406) for all of the help! I couldn't have done this without you! Everyone, go check out her page and follow her! She's super cool, and one of the very best friends I have on here! All character, world and basically everything rights goes to the amazing Rick Troll Riordan, except for the plot points I made and the characters I created. I said I wouldn't post this, but here we are. (Updated summary) Percy Jackson has gone missing. Olympus has closed. Great, time for a new quest. Rachel's Prophecy of Eight has begun after three new demigods have been picked up across the country. The new campers, and a slightly less newer one, must go on a quest to rescue the queen of the heavens. When they return, they realize their issue is bigger than they thought. They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. The diety Apate seems to want things to go her way. In doing so, pain is multiplied, and Livana is forced into her suffering. (Story cover by myself)
