There was Vern Tessio who most everybody picked on. There was Gordon LaChance, the talented writer who lost his older brother Dennis in a jeep accident. There was Chris Chambers, he came from a bad family and everyone just knew he'd turn out bad. Finally there was Alexis Merrill, the younger sister to Ace Merrill who was the leader of The Cobra's. They were all the best of friends and would do anything for each other. Chris and Alexis were very close to each other. After all Chris was the one that understood her the most. They both came from bad families and wanted nothing more than to escape. It was clear to most everyone that they were in love, but not even they could see the connection between them. I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. The more I caught his eye the more he noticed me. We would pass each other, I would always stare a little longer at his back, wondering his story. People used to move out of the hallways if they saw him approaching whereas people would come and talk to me. He kept to himself, I was never alone, he had no friends, I was friends with everyone, I never saw him talk to anyone I spoke to many. we were polar opposites. At least that's what I thought until that day in the library, that is where I will start this story. Everyone is different, I hate the word "different", I much prefer the word unique. Unique is the only way to describe him. This is not just a story about love, it is about helping two souls who act differently but are the same on the inside, it shows the messy parts that aren't shown in movies, the tragedy, and the comedy but most of all the sizzling romance between two broken people who became one.
