I didn't ask to be thrown into the plot of some fantastical story. It just kinda...happened. Well, I don't really see any way I could've possibly avoided it while living in a world where animals in human form are common and everyday sights. Not to mention that 'spirits' from some 'classified realm' are a very real issue facing the military that oppresses my faction. Hell, the worst part of it all was falling in love with one of the outlawed wolves and suddenly being surrounded by them!

I guess I shouldn't have hung around with a normal ol' human until he got mixed up in the world of me and my kind. I feel pretty bad about getting him involved, but he still says that all this was gonna happen anyways whether or not he'd saved me. Maybe it was because of the mystical otaku (yeah, you heard me right) who walked in our dreams, or maybe it was because of something far more sinister returning to our world from some alternate realm. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure it has something to do with me.All Rights Reserved

A horse ranch. That's where I lived at least. I know, not very exciting to those of you who don't care for this life or think it's all about work. But let me tell you, you're actually quite wrong. Paranormal Romance (Werewolf) You know that movie Jerry Maguire? It's about this sports agent who got fired for suddenly having a conscience. Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway. Don't get me wrong it was heart wrenching, very much so, and there was a passionate declaration. But instead of saying the oh so loving, oh so sweet and oh so scripted "I love you. You complete me..." like Jerry did in the movie, my 'mate', the other half of my soul and the one who 'completes' me said, "I hate you. I wish you were dead!" He said it with disgust and anger burning in his eyes. He didn't run into my arms like he was supposed to, he ran away from it. But who could blame him? Jerry Maguire was right. We live in a cynical world and we work on a business of tough competitors. Why would my mate want to be with me? He'd be shunned and be forever laughed at.
