This is a Peter Parker/ spiderman x reader. The reader is an orphan and has the power to make portals. (Disclaimer: I don't own Spider-man or y/n. I only own the plot, the orphanage owner, and some other made up characters.)

He could always tolerate it and hide his scars and bruises but, when she finds out he's Spider-Man, everything shatters. He has nowhere to turn except to his mentor, Tony Stark: the man he strives to be like. This isn't a Starker shipping fic, it's where Tony takes in Peter because everyone loves a wholesome and funny fanfiction. Tony and Pepper are wanting to adopt a kid thinking that having a kid will help keep the other's from having another 'Civil war' issue. So that is what they did, going to the closest Orphanage in Queens. When they first lay their eyes on Peter they knew that he was special and that he was the one. Everything was going great but all good things must come to an end. Will Peter make it out of his depressed state or will he be forever lost in his depression.
