Sylvia Slone always dreamed of becoming a famous figure skater and winning a gold medal. Her parents supported her and got her lessons with a figure skating champion who had to retire because of an injury. Now she is going to try her best to fulfill her dream.

Meet Andrew Solinski. He used to be a famous figure skater. He was a gold medal champion until he fell and injured himself. He retired from the ice and started coaching. He didn't want to leave the sport so this was second best. He would get pleasure if one particular student could make it to the Olympics. She is a natural on the ice. She just needs help perfecting her jumps. He also wants to make a name for himself in the ice skating world to open his school for skaters.

From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate.
