His heart so fragile, always finding solace in books to heal the broken shards of his heart. Conan is an antisocial gay teen in the world of misconceptions for being homosexual. Not openly confronting about his sexuality, he faces the consequences of misleading his feelings to society. Being 1/3 of anti-depressants, harassment at school soars with flying colors- although, when the new neighbor moves next door, Conan learns that two paper hearts searching and hoping for love will ignite a bittersweet relationship, but getting tired of abuse from his parents and harassment at school, he decides to runaway.

Elliot; in the closet, gay teen. Not only does he not embrace his sexuality, but finds it hard to make friends that truly understand him. Meeting Conan, he learns to except himself but with a upcoming plan to runway he is unsure of destiny and what fate plans for the two of them. He was just an outsider searching for a place to belong, although he belongs to his home- Elliot, but it takes him awhile to realize it.
