Isabel Grant had a tough childhood. Bullies, Terrible Parents, Loneliness, etc. She always stuck out, in a bad way. You see, Isabel has a secret....She's different than most humans. She has powers that no one, not even she can explain. Now Isabel is 33 years young, living in Metropolis, while being an aspiring artist. Everything is fine and dandy until she meets Clark Kent. A Kansas farm boy who has similar problems as herself. Both discover that they aren't from earth and were sent from a planet named Krypton. They were the last, or one of the last people from Krypton. Their minds were made for each other, literally. They have a mental and physical bond with each other, that cant be broken. Isabel and Clark are supposed to be the key for Krypton's survival. What they don't know is, bringing back Krypton is a deadly mistake. With Zod after them, Earth's fate on their shoulders, and the bond. They soon discover that they have to stick together or Earth will crumble around them. Making her the Woman of Steel.

An alternate ending to the 2013 movie Man of Steel using characters from The Dark Knight, Batman vs Superman and the movie Fight Club I thought Man of Steel was great But watching Superman kill Zod and make his race extinct, seemed as excessive as the destruction of Metropolis The original alternate ending (the 1st draft of part 1) was the typical farm-boy meets Kryptonian girl and saves the day by proving to Zod that humans have redeeming qualities. It was only when I thought about what would happen to the narrator, Tyler Durden, after Zod made peace with Earth & Kal El, that I could see the potential for a real story. I should give advance notice to the readers who may be expecting a series of dramatic SuperHero versus SuperVillain fights, this is an anti-super, anti-hero story as it is told from the perspective of a regular-guy weaving his way through a Meta-Human conflict while keeping his eyes on the prize: (Faora Ul). Logically, the story focuses mainly on 'human' characteristics of the Superhero/Villain characters as well as developing DC-Comic's 'C-Listers' (Martha Kent/Lois Lane/Nathan Hardy/Perry White) into characters who are central to the storyline. Rated Mature for: Profanity Adult situations (no sex) Violence Smoking Ps: I use Italics to identify the narrator's inner monologue as well as distinguish dream sequences and other breaks from the narrative's reality, in addition to using italics for emphasis. Originally published here: November 2021, then periodically edited to clean up the typos, as well as sharpen the narrative... Which usually creates more typos... :( Thanks for reading Hope you like it! Cover is a still from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel

Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year. Pairs, France here I come Characters belong to their rightful owners. (Daminette)
