Three years have passed since the death of Snoke. No one truly knows what happened. No one truly survived.

The First Order grows more powerful every day, not affected by the death of Kylo Ren and the Supreme Leader. The Resistance crumbles under the weight of the death of (Y/N) (L/N). General Leia Organa has stepped down and both the Resistance and First Order are under new leadership.

With the Galaxy believing that Kylo Ren and Tarika (L/N)-Solo are dead, Ben Solo now lives in seclusion on Chandrila, the acting capital of the struggling New Republic and new base of the Resistance, with his daughter and mother. There, he trains alongside Tarika with the last two living Jedi: Luke Skywalker and Rey.

(Y/N) (L/N) leads the First Order with an iron fist. She's become lethal, malevolent, and most of all: dangerous. The death of her fiancé and daughter have brought her to this. To the Knights of Ren, she's Bernael Ren. To the First Order and the Galaxy, she's Supreme Leader. To the Resistance, she's dead.

You've known him all your life, sharing countless memories together. But one day, he says he has to leave to train to be a Jedi with his Uncle Luke. He promises to return, and the night before he leaves is one you would never forget. But you leave the planet of Corellia you've called home only after two months goes by, and that's when the secrets start. A year passes, and word is spread that Ben has fallen to the Dark Side, killing all of the Jedi Padawans Luke had trained. Devastated, you return to the only home you've ever known for the comforting of General Leia. Five years pass when you finally come face to face with Kylo Ren, your secrets trailing behind you like the cape on his back.

A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! Both Kylo and Skurn are positive they will win this time. However, could they be underestimating the power of the light side? Rey is no longer just a scavenger. She has trained with Luke Skywalker to be a Jedi, and though not fully trained, is already powerful. Rey and her team of Poe, Finn, and BB-8 are determined to stop the Sith once and for all... for Alder' s sake. His parents mourn for him still but are strong, leading the Resistance tactically as they wait for another opportunity to strike at the First Order. This time, Kylo and his apprentice won't be getting away. But the dark side is stirring. Snoke's arrival bids more than his wrath for failure, it also brings a new face, or rather mask, to the Knights of Ren. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Alder Solo, brother to Ben Solo, son of Leia and Han. He witnessed the massacre of the new order of Jedi, barely escaping with his own life as he fled. A coward, always the coward in the family, not like Ben had been. Alder couldn't even use the force, though his skill with a lightsaber was admirable. Now he has an opportunity to redeem himself and bring his brother back to the light, will he be able to accomplish his task and learn to accept his lack of the Force or will Kylo Ren destroy him completely? One thing is certain: The First Order has strength beyond that of the Resistance and with Zeh Skurn under their influence the Resistance needs Luke Skywalker found and Finn, Poe, and Rey must help Alder find his true path if they are to ever defeat Kylo Ren.
