[COMPLETED] She was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. She was ethereal and mystical and utterly impossible. Her mere existence challenged everything that he knew about the world. His mind screamed that she couldn't be real, yet here she was.

When seventeen-year-old Liam Bainbridge sees something wrapped in a fishing net on a sandbar, his first thought is that some poor creature had been caught up by a fishing boat. Feeling the need to help, he jumps into action. It isn't until he releases it that he sees that everything isn't always as it appears. The fin doesn't belong to a dolphin or a seal, but a strangely beautiful girl and she's badly injured. Liam is soon pulled into an incredible mythical world he never imagined was real.

Over the next few weeks I will be going through it to fix typos and grammatical errors but otherwise this story is complete! Enjoy! Sirena Brinn is just your average 18 year old... Well, aside from the fact that she can breath underwater. After moving back to her childhood home of Glasspoint, Florida Sirena's entire reality is changed when she learns that merpeople exist, and that she could even be one herself. Eventually, she finds herself in the company of Calder, a mysterious merman who seems to know a little too much about her, and Darrien a handsome merprince who puts the fate of his kingdom in her hands. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It took all of me not scream at the sight before me. Calder was standing in my bedroom, stark naked. "Oh my god!" I cried, shielding my eyes. I leapt from under my covers and ran into the bathroom. I snatched a towel off the rack and flung it at Calder. So clearly last night wasn't a dream. "What the hell?" I hissed as he wrapped the towel around his waist. "How did you get in here?" "I climbed up from the balcony." He replied casually. "You're insane." "Well if you hadn't run off last night and just let me explain, I wouldn't be standing here right now." He said coldly. "Oh it's my fault? Okay. Well can you really blame me?" I exclaimed angrily. I was pissed that he was pissed at me. "Up until last night, I didn't even think mermaids existed, and then you tell me that I am one!" "Well excuse me for trying to give you some background information about yourself." He scoffed. The Seawitch's Regret: A Little Mermaid Retelling ✅

31 parts Complete

(COMPLETED) A Little Mermaid Retelling through the Seawitch's eyes like never stated before. Everyone always got the story wrong, "A mermaid princess falls head over feels with a prince, she trades her tail for legs while giving up her voice, but he didn't recognize her and married a neighboring kingdom's princess, and they all blamed the seawitch for the downfall of it all." But what if I told you the seawitch was actually the mermaid princess' best friend and didn't want her to go to the land at all and instead was worried about her so much. What if I told you, the human prince pretended to not recognize her because he wanted to marry the neighboring kingdom's princess? What if I told you the seawitch was only called a seawitch because their kind could perform magic and spells, but merfolk feared them for superstitious reasons? What if I told you that seawitch was in love with the princesses and they wanted to do all they could to prevent her from turning into seafoam? Because that seawitch is me...
