After defeating the Canadiens and officially knocking them out of the playoffs, the newly formed Bolts squad with Alex Galchenyuk and the turned-good Jonathan Drouin enter the playoffs to battle the Detroit Red Wings. They form a group of eight people, who are sworn to protect the magically disguised hockey stick-lightning bolt, Yzerchuk. 

The YIPs are formed by Vladdy Namestnikov, who choses seven of the most trustworthy teammates, including the two fangirls: Nikita Kucherov, Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson, Jonathan Drouin, Victor Hedman, Evelyna and Dani. 

With Evelyna and Dani still holding onto the stick, time passes by with no issues occurring and Anton Stralman and Steven Stamkos still slowly progressing with their injuries.

Little do they know that Brendan Gallagher, Michel Therrien, Marc Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens aren't finished just yet. With the advice of Matt Carle, the Canadiens learn about a secret weapon that just might get their revenge against the Lightning. 

His name, Justin Abdelkader.
