She has not lost herself, but she has not find herself either. This is the life of a girl, laid before you in poems and thoughts. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Another collection of (bad) poems. *tw: mentions of sexual assault, drug use, drinking, suicidal ideation and self harm* -a collection of poems that document my experiences with my mental health throughout high school. a warning: i had a few undiagnosed mental disorders (including anxiety and depression, among other things) and was also experiencing narcissistic abuse. so a lot of this is both depressing and disturbing. reader discretion is advised. i would also like to point out that this is only my side of the story. many of the people I spoke about were dealing with their own mental health issues and deserve at least a little less judgement (except for my abusers bc fuck them <3). anyways, enjoy. if you can lol- started: November 2019 finished: May 2023

Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul.
