TWISTED FATE

Paige Lockhart is a not-so-ordinary girl living an average life. Being an orphan after her parents died and being mysteriously taken to a well known orphanage to live a better life than the one her birth parents left for her.

HER DREAMS:She works at a popular cafe called Nick's Treat just to feel independent of her mega-rich foster parents who grants her every request. Not as mean nor stuck-up as her older half-sister Catherine but as juvenile as her little sister Lesley, whom also was her blood sister in the orphanage.

Her life is going well as she dreams of being the next owner of Nick's Treat.

HER FEARS: But...things slowly spiral out of control when she meets Duncan Pane, a transfer student from Arizona. He is obnoxious, demanding but secretly has a soft spot for her later on even though initially they hate each other's guts.

THINGS GET REAL when Duncan reveals to Paige the secret behind her family history as she is of royal blood. Speaking of blood....he's a top, upper-level vampire.
