In a slightly AU New York City, things are about to be changed forever. For years, an organization known as Checkmate has been trying to push the limits of humanity, while keeping a worldwide peace. A terrorist group known as Sundown has been highly against it, going so far as to try and blow up Checkmate bases. In a cataclysmic event between the two, lives have been changed forever. This day was forever recorded as "Rebirth".

An explosion has left nothing but a cloud of gas in it's wake. And inside it, the properties of the mutagen that was sure to push the mortal coil past it's peak. Right place at the wrong time, Drew Mills found himself at the center of the explosion, inhaling in the fumes from the gas. It mutated his genetic structure, bringing his body to it's full potential. Only, he wasn't the singular change. The gas was widespread across the Bronx, killing many and mutating survivors.

In the aftermath of Rebirth, Checkmate has been working to fix the mess they in part created. There has been no word from Sundown, and the streets have been littered with powered people for months. And Checkmate CEO, Alexander Mills, has been utilizing his son for purposes of containing the aberrant threats that run rampant throughout New York. However, there's a deeper story to be told. A mystery of Rebirth and it's Origins. One that will leave the lives of everyone involved changed forever.All Rights Reserved

As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes. Time is morphed and crumbled after Cale used the said power, to prevent the chaos erupting, the GoD decided to contain the source of the problem (Cale Henituse) in an empty space, where any living beings could not interfere nor touch the young master until the problem could be fixed. While the sudden disappearance of the young master happened, the bear king Sayeru realized that his power has been significantly weakened to the point that he could not even use them normally anymore. All of the people, strong, weak, or neither, are equal in strenght. Those who are sick are healed in such a short time, and they who were fighting had their weapons dissapear as their hurting body healed in an instant. It seems like the whole continent is on a 'Peace mode' that means that they could not go to war with the sudden condition. the hero and the villain decided to hold a meeting to find the cause of this sudden incident... "Wait, Where is Cale Henituse? " - Trying to escape the white prison, he used his ancient power, the answer of the action is that he was pulled by a mysterious gravity.. Cale was transported to a different dimension, where now he appeared in a forest..with the remains of a burnt village, 2 years ago. -Excuse me, hello!
