She's been trapped since she was a little girl. Constantly being fed from and raped. She knows nothing other than the darkness. Never has she know another human, the only contact she has had is with vampires. Her name is a mystery even to her, and she has only a ninth grade education. Something about her is different.

Sookie and Bill were having problems with a rouge vampire. He was terrorizing people. They only know that there is someone in danger and that they have to stop him. Before someone gets killed. 

Eric Northman is asked to help Sookie and Bill. At first he is reluctant but then he is told that there is a girl called West involved and decides to help. 

What will happen? Will Eric finally find someone to love, or someone for dinner?
