Cassie, 18, never kissed, never drank, never smoked, practically never did anything remotely adventurous, was planning to leave high school unscathed. But when her heart got broken by the school's King, Desmond, she was determined to have a change of plans.

Armed with a new look, a new persona, and an army of professional liars and tricksters, she was going all out to bring down the high and mighty Mr. Heartless. Even if she had to break her own heart for the sake of it.

Because frankly my dear, all's fair in love and war.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
