After leaving her family behind to go to college, an unnamed narrator returns to face the consequences of her actions. 

Warning: This was the first short story that I ever wrote. Also, I have never been to Georgia so this probably isn't too accurate regarding the setting.

Her life had finally settled into a peaceful routine with the Benson's until their oldest son comes home. What happens when the past pulls you backwards while all you want is to step ahead?
