What happens when a friend of Scar's comes back to Pride Rock only to realize the scar has been dethroned and the hyena's have been exiled back to the Elephant graveyard facing starvation and threats of war if they were to cross into the Lion's hunting grounds, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed now prowl the Savannah in a vain attempt to feed their pack all the while starving themselves.

When escaping Zira's grasp for the day, he is soon caught by the males of the pride after stealing kills, they operate to take his life until he is found by Kiara.
