The war in Vietnam is getting worse than they thought. But, Clara hears the news about Raven being in there, right in the middle, so she signs herself up as a soldier and spends a few months in Vietnam, looking for her sister. 

A few weeks later:

Charles and Hank were sleeping, when they heard a noise. Someone knocking on the front door. Charles rolled over and opened it. 

"Yes?" 

He was taken by surprise when he saw some kind of military man on his door.

"Im sorry sir," said the man. Charles already knew what the man was about to say. He felt a tear going down his cheek. She couldn't be... dead. Not Clara. He couldn't believe it.
