The undeniable truth is that Edward James Cullen is crazy in love with Ciel Celeste Belaire. The crazy kind as in he can't stop even though she schemed to annihilate him and his entire family. She did save his life in a change of heart, but that doesn't excuse the fact that she shattered his.

Still, his love life isn't nearly as complicated as his sister Renesmee's. Not only does she have a complex relationship with her "soulmate" (Jacob being banned from their land notwithstanding), but she's also pregnant and currently dating a human who may or may not be the father.

Yet the drama pales in consideration of the Volturi, who are busy amassing an army to wipe out the Olympic Coven and their allies. Sure, they don't plan to attack for another decade or so―since they're all vampires that live for eternity―but if left unchallenged, this could eventually spell the end for the Cullen's.

Bonds will broken and lives will be lost in this sequel to "Sunset" that continues Meyer's Twilight Saga. Told from the twins' POV, "North Star" is full of vengeful plots, power-hungry forces, and impossible choices, forcing EJ and Nessie to discover the answer to the age-old question...
