Genesis Augustin loved to dance. It was her very life and breath. She would spend hours prancing across the floors of the old dance studio in New York, perfecting every spin and twist. Even after a disturbed past, Genesis shone through to be the best ballet girl in her small group. When her break to perform on Broadway struck, she nailed it with ease and determination. In turn, she made her way up with the "big kids", performing in a world traveling show of The Phantom of the Opera, one of her favorites.

But, suddenly a stumbling block made its way into her blossoming career. Perhaps her only salvation could come through Jett Devon, aka the Phantom on stage. He was shy, reserved, but certainly a cunning and handsome individual. It was certain he had secrets of his own he wished not to share. As he waltzed into Genesis's life, things started to change, hearts stared to melt, and passions began to bloom.

But was Jett's secrets far too great for Genesis to handle? And what would happened when love and past mistakes started to collide? One last ballet...one last waltz...this one with more passion than ever before.
So I ask you, once more if never again, waltz with me...

Hey welcome to Phantom Writer a modern version of Phantom of the Opera. Now please let me explain this help better understand the story, now originally this was gonna to be like Candyman and Phantom of the Opera, later on I added things from not only Conjuring but Insidious along with a few things from Phantom the Musical. I just wanted to let y'all know that this might be if not one of the hardest stories I had to write, but that's if you don't count Michiru x Nazuna (Original) which was a nightmare to write or Dead-End's Road which has me come up with new ideas for it. And that's not to put down anyone who wants to write or are writing a Phantom of the Opera, it's a beautiful story on love, music, and tragedy, it's what I love about Phantom of the Opera, and that shines through with the Characters. And I know I can't do Phantom of the Opera without saying something about the Phantom and I just want to say I understand he is misunderstood for his looks which is sad and is the reason he became the Phantom, but this Phantom was understood but became the Phantom for what can be an honestly be called a simple mistake, Christine and Raoul are also a big part of the story for Christine being the only one to truly understand the Phantom, Raoul has trouble trying to understand yet wants to help Christine with the Phantom which is one of the great parts of the story. On a side note is this will get Mature at some points, and don't mistake this on "it's because he based it on three horror movies." Buddy that's not it, the reason is that how all my new stories are gonna be like going forward, it gives me more freedom to get away with things I normally can't with a normal story Anyway I'll stop stalling you and start the reading

The life of an ordinary girl is turned upside down when she is transported into her favorite musical, "The Phantom of the Opera," in the place of the elegant heroine. Negotiating life in 19th-century Paris is challenging enough without a diva scheming for leads, a sarcastic Persian's input, and two very different men battling for her affections! Should she stay faithful to the plot of the story or rewrite history? Should she choose a safe path with a reliable husband or risk her future following her mysterious Phantom? Told from the points of view of Erik - the Phantom - and the newly-made Christine, this story follows them both as they work through their respective demons to find love in the person that is a little different from all their imaginings. "A really well-written Erik/OC, with a lovely, smart, likable heroine. If you ever fantasized about taking Christine's place in POTO, read this." - @olivesky "I am literally crying right now.
