This is the sequel of my first book: Percy Jackson The Wolf Prince

It begins off a few weeks after the ending of the first book.

"You can't break me Lyacon." I whispered, feeling the blood dripping off my body.

Lyacon stopped whipping me "Everything can be broken, you just have to find out how." He snorted.

Lyacon walked around me. "You have been used, smashed and betrayed , but yet you don't break." He said, as he started smiling and went on. "But there is one thing that hasn't been tainted yet, the one thing that keeps you innocent, and soon that will be rectified." Then he left my cave, closing the door behind him. "Tomorrow you will have a visitor, and you mad her angry, and you are going to pay, Perseus. You are going to pay." With that, I was left alone, to think about what he said.

Have you ever felt like everything you've ever worked for was for nothing? That every problem, every struggle, you've gotten through has led you to nowhere? Well let me tell you something. Everything happens for a reason, and everything is either good or bad or somewhere in between. That doesn't mean you should just lie down and take whatever the fates throw at you. Ever since I can remember I've never liked being tied down by rules. Anybody who knows me, which is apparently a lot of people, can tell you that. I've learned that sometimes you can change your definition. Your very existence can become something else if you only try so hard. I also learned that this comes with a price. What price I hear you asking? Well.... first I'd say you have to get rid of everything that makes you, you. Or maybe you get stripped of it. That's how you remake yourself. Start from only what you know and build from that. To become something different you've got to let go of what holds you down. In my case I was forced to. Yeah yeah. Go ahead and laugh, it's kinda cheesy. But Percy Jackson doesn't take any flack from critics so calm down. Anyway. The way I lost everything, the way everything I'd known and believed in, was whisked away from me just like that is within this book. This is a story about how I, Percy Jackson Scourge of Olympus, become something new. How? I got... well.... I got left behind, in the dust. My flaws finally caught up to me. But I rose from that. And this is how.... -- A B A N D O N E D

She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

"The Queen of the Underworld doesn't make social calls." * - * - * [ adventure, found family - book 2] Every nightmare started with a raven. For seven months, Alex Griffith, son of Hermes, has tried to help Chiron hold Camp Half-Blood together. He had hoped that after the Pyrrhic victory of his quest, things would settle down, but that wasn't in the cards for him. The disappearance of Percy Jackson, arrival of the Roman, Jason Grace, and rise of Gaea have seen to that. His recurring nightmares of violent ravens, a cold lake, and a strange celestial bronze bow aren't helping. Alex is almost glad when Persephone disrupts another dream, this time in her Roman form. He owes her everything. Too bad she knows that. And the Queen of the Underworld doesn't make social calls. * - * - * Sequel to Walk With the Shadows Starring: a son of Hermes and a son of Proserpina Began: December 22, 2022 Ended: - - Final Word Count: - - Primary Pairings: OFC/OMC Background Pairings: OFC/OFC, all canon couples * - * - * Takes place after The Lost Hero and before Son of Neptune. * - * - * Warnings: mild psychological horror, night terrors, post traumatic stress, non-gratuitous depictions of violence, canon accurate child soldiers This fic is heavily inspired by the mythological tale of Hades & Persephone, more specifically, the kidnapping and forced marriage of Persephone.
