Althea was a mermaid. She was the mermaid of legend, the type who was beautiful, and loved humans. It could be for the fact that she was half human, her mother being born on the island of Kea. Having been kicked out of her colony, she wanders around the island of Kea, wanting to learn more about the humans, when a strange man with an even stranger briefcase offers to take her with him, and teach her everything he knows about humans. The only price she has to pay is teaching him about Merpeople. With an offer like that, how could she refuse?
