Leila is your average girl. She reads books, does her homework and talks to her friends and family. But that's in the holidays. One big thing makes Leila's life different to that of everyone else in her village.
She's a witch.
Hogwarts is where Leila spends most of her year, and it's her favourite place in the world. She loves the subjects, the teachers, but most of all her four best friends - Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton. In the same year as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, they live in a world of danger and catastrophe, but they have other things on their plates.
Emotions are running high with family issues, work and friendship turned love, but underneath it all there is something bigger, scarier than they could have ever imagined. After a terrifying warning from Ollivander about her wand, Leila's life becomes one big mystery and she's left wondering: is it all too much?
