Ahsoka to the Jedi and Maul to the Sith. They were trained in the ways of said orders and ultimately rejected by the very groups to which they dedicated their lives. After their rejection, they take the same path. Both do not abandon the ideals of their order, Ahsoka tries to continue to fight for good using the force, and Maul continues to use hate to exact revenge and gain power. HOWEVER, as much as Ahsoka wants to keep her thoughts positive on the Jedi Order, telling herself they only did what they thought was best, they wouldn't have done it if they didn't think they had to, and deep down they knew she didn't do it, shes now beginning to struggle. She had given her entire life to the Order, and they cast her out at the suspicion she might have committed a crime. She proved her loyalty and it meant nothing, as they didn't believe her. She's on the run from the same Order she gave her life to. Then she meets someone who is facing the same type of pain, and she can't help but relate. So when he asks her to join him, she hesitates. Although the Jedi in her screams no, the other part of her mind, the wounded one, can't help but consider it... As awful scars, both physical and mental, resurface of the Council, as well as from the sith, both outcasts find comfort in the other.
