GxG Lexa/OC A few hours of pain later, Zalia could already see the top of the Polis tower creeping up through the top of the trees. She knew there were still a few miles away, so they would most likely get there at dawn. Once they walked closer to the gates of the capital city of Polis, she could see people coming closer to the gates, waiting for her. But not in a good way, she knew that already. The leader of the Onagraun (Underground) was not welcome here. Once Zalia walked through the gates, the people got closer and started hitting her while they cheered on the victory. She felt a punch to her stomach while someone hit her on the back. This caused her to fall to the floor all while the horse kept moving, making her an easier target for people's kicks. "EM PLENI!" (ENOUGH!) someone yelled. Zalia couldn't hear clearly who it was since her ears were ringing for some reason. Clarke Griffin is a seventeen year old human who has never met her father. Her mother is never around because she would rather spend her time at the club than with her daughter. She isn't the most popular girl in school and only has one friend, Raven. Clarke has been in love with her best friend's twin sister since middle school, but she knows they can never be together, not only becuse she is the most popular girl who has been bullying her since freshman year but also because she is her best friends sister. Lexa Woods is the most popular girl in school. She is the Quarterback of the football team, and she can have any girl she wants, except for the one she has been in love with since the fifth grade, Clarke. She is her twin sister's best friend, but that is not the only reason she can't have her. Lexa Woods is a werewolf, along with her twin sister and the rest of her family, and Clarke is a human who knows nothing about werewolves. Lexa has been bullying her since freshman year. She feels it is better to push her away than to stay close to her. She knows she will meet her Mate soon since her eighteenth birthday is coming up, but something shocking happens. She discovers that Clarke is her Mate.

Jake (Clarke's father) was left in a coma and the doctors weren't sure if he would ever get out of it. Present-day Clarke and her mother financially struggle due to the high medical costs, of eeping Jake alive. To make sure Clarke has a financially stable future her mother wants to give up on Jake, who has made no progress and most likely never will. Clarke however, is not happy with her mother's idea and decides to take matters into her own hands. She applies for a high-paying job at a company owned by the daughter of the person she and her family hate the most in the entire universe, to save her father.
