Nina Kim has built her life around dance.
After years of training, injuries, and setbacks, she's finally where she's always wanted to be: working as a professional backup dancer in Seoul and serving as captain of a crew preparing for one of the biggest performances of their careers-the MAMA Awards.
But Nina has a problem.
Her body doesn't always cooperate anymore.
Between an unstable ankle, limited mobility, and injuries she refuses to let define her, Nina has become an expert at adapting choreography, pushing through pain, and making sure no one notices what she can no longer do. She refuses to be the reason her crew falls behind.
Then James enters the picture.
As a member of the rising K-pop group Cortis and the original choreographer for their MAMA performance, James has been sent to make sure Nina's crew is ready. He's talented, hardworking, and just as obsessed with getting every step right as she is.
At first, Nina and James are simply two dancers trying to do their jobs.
But as rehearsals stretch late into the night and the line between professional respect and something more begins to blur, Nina finds herself confronting a question she's spent years avoiding:
What happens when the life you've worked so hard to build starts asking you to change?
