Because Jace has ultimate martyr and delusional energy, he actually agrees to become Miggy's wingman. For months, Jace suffers internally while helping his crush look for his best friend. But along the way, as Jace and Miggy spend more time together-surviving the floods of Pasig, sharing tricycles, doing group projects, and late-night chatting-the vibe completely shifts. Miggy starts paying more attention to Jace instead of Enzo. Later on, after months of slow-burn pining, Jace finally cracks and confesses his feelings. That's when Miggy drops the ultimate plot twist: he never actually liked Enzo. He just used Enzo as an excuse from day one because he was too shy to approach Jace directly. It's basically a story about two people accidentally falling in love while trying to play a very chaotic game of reverse-psychology.
