'We worship the sun, she is beautiful and bright, but also powerful and destructive. To anger her is to watch our fields burn and feel the heat rise. Do not question her.' The Aurellians are a tribe of cats who worship and follow the sun, believing her to be a powerful goddess who brings them light and life. They have one bug rule: Do not anger or question the sun. They say her anger will cause destruction and chaos and destroy their home completely. So no one does. Until Nova. From the moment she discovered the sun worship, she has always questioned if the sun was really a pale she-cat who lived in the Tribe of Eternal Light. But, aware of the rule, she kept quiet. Until one meeting, where her curiosity gets the better of her.

Series 1, Book 1 Jay is a kit of Heatherclan. But he always felt different. More than just his name and injured leg. But the feeling is constantly pushed away by his everyday life. His role as medicine cat apprentice, constant bullying from his brothers and their friends for being a runt and 'useless'. But one night, he is visited by an ancestor of his in a dream, and is told things that expand his thoughts and visions. Maybe he really was different from the others. Maybe he wasn't so useless after all. A Jay's Wing Return to The Clans
