How long have you been writing the story for? Because I started mine around 2018— and it took untill last year to finally peak, that too after re writing the entire things...
I'll say, just keep writing it at your own pace. Don't keep a regular schedule because that stresses you out at the start, but make sure to at least update twice each month.
Don't make the chapters too short or long (personally I keep the word limit to 2500-4500)
And details are very important when you describe a scene, fight or anything in particular. Details that can make the reader easily get the visuals of the book that is...
I'll get around to read your book one of these days and check it out if you'd like it ｡◕‿◕｡

In thinking of bringing back BLANKS the Hanako-kun x oc fic because every time I see it in the drafts I feel bad for it. That book doesn't deserve to be treated so unlovingly (┬┬﹏┬┬) So I'm bringing it back, despite knowing I won't be able to update it regularly!
