I want to find the next great book or if I can't find it, create one myself.  Discovering new and fantastic stories is a passion of mine, as is writing them.  As a result, I love both editing and writing.  I honestly don't know which I prefer more.  My preferences are fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, and horror.

Along the same vein of enjoying editing, for any interested, I do both critique and editing exchange services.  Just PM me for details.

Just a few things I'm interested in:

Video games: Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim, Oblivion, Borderlands, Fallout, Dishonored, Sims, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Witcher, and many more I just can't think of at the moment.

Books: Dune by Frank Herbert, A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin, The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, the Sigma Force series by James Rollins, all of Dan Brown's books, the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Nicholas Sparks books, Infected and Contagious books by Scott Sigler, Patient Zero and Joe Ledger series by Jonathan Maberry, and certainly many more.

Music: Classical, primarily film and video game scores (Hans Zimmer is my favorite).  Rock, literally the entire spectrum, from Aerosmith to 3 Doors Down to A Day to Remember.  50s swing, like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and the like.

Movies and TV shows: Don't even get me started.  I'll be here all day if I try to type all those out.

Recently finished the first draft of my first novel, Plight of an Empire.  It would mean so much to me if you would just check it out and let me know what you think, like what I should keep and change for when I start on the revisions (which will be happening very soon).
