A Kiwi through and through, Aldrea lives on a small farm with her family and a menagerie of animals, most of which are convinced they're just as human as the next person. Especially the cats.
Although merrily going through the third decade of her life, she discovered a love of writing at the age of twelve when the voice of an old reptilian alien man crept into her daydreaming.
Since then, she hasn't found an ounce of peace from the multitude of characters bouncing about her mind, all of them clamouring for her to tell their story first. Appeasing them means having several novels on the go at once.
