I'm Ashley, known around my small New Mexico community for my conspicuous appearance, (I use a wheelchair and recently colored my hair,) seemingly endless compilation of random facts, and my slight obsession with Starbucks and Greek mythology. I have "translated" (i.e rewritten) several myths in modern language: ("This one time on Olympus...") I write in the style and with the content of ancient Greek and Roman authors with a modern twist. (I've become as twisted as they are, and sometimes laugh at my own jokes after getting in my characters heads. Note: I do not take full or conscious responsibility for what comes out of their mouths.)  There is a Hebrew phrase that translates to "living in a movie." That truly is what writing is like for me. If you love Classical Literature, mythology, the Bible, social justice, spontaneity, occasional profanity and off-color humor, and the blending of cultures, I'm your girl.
