Secondary update. I have officially done two interviews! My first one was a success, and I am moving onto the video interview for the sake of practice. The second interview which was on monday was a success, and I officially was offered a position at the Patient Experience office at Advent Health Walt Disney Pavilion, aka the childrens hospital. There's a new special project I will probably be assigned to, and the faster I can get my badging done, I can probably get an early jump on it.
I am officially ONE credit from graduating. Which will be in August.

@Glory_feeling2 I already did it. I am shadowing an intern this week, then I have orientation on May 2nd then I begin on May 4th.

Official update! I have gotten through the initial hurdle, which is a resume, and cover letter reviews for an internship opportunity at Vanderbilt University Medical College. So I am now officially in the reference phase. It's surprising because it's for graduate students, not undergraduates, but because I am close enough to graduation, they might look at me as close enough.

@CooperHChurch Wow, that's amazing! Vanderbilt University! That's prestigious just like those Ivy League Schools such as Harvard. Hopefully they'll take you in, don't give up hope. I didn't forgo medical classes (the farthest I went is medical assisting and decided its not for me ... long story but I did to actually please my relatives. My female cousins are in the medical field. 3 are nurses,and another is a dentist So of course I tried it. But as a former patient, I had trouble ... could only pass medical terminology and coding & billing (although I'm afraid of making financial mistakes). Don't trust me in taking your vital signs, trust me ... I fail cause I lack balance. But enough about me. Congrats again! Hard work pays off!

Windows 11 Pro 23H2 is a buggy mess. Updated laptop and windows 11 imploded, reinstalled and it's not recognizing my TPM or any security hardware, my laptop is a Thinkpad, they are as secure as they come.
It's also why I got a extended warranty for my laptop. Just in case, but Windows 11 has been a nightmare.
A few months ago the Windows desktop deleted itself, that I had to navigate via command prompt and powershell to restart my laptop.

@CooperHChurch Thank you for the reccomendation, but I'm not IT. I don't trust myself. I took basic computer classes before Watttpad and through the advise of my teacher back then, I upgraded my old laptop. I trusted the technicians, but never again will I do that because it ran to even bigger trouble. Brought it to technology students who were learning under an IT to figure out what to do. Story short ... not going through all that mumbo jumbo again. But thank you again for the advice but I'm not great on hands-on work.

@Glory_feeling2 I recommend to just build a computer. It's pretty much Legos. You also save a few hundred dollars if you buy a CPU with integrated graphics like a AMD 5000G which are cheap and DDR4 being now last generation is cheap, and the SSDs that come in prebuilts tend to be really low quality.

@CooperHChurch I'm getting a new desktop after I finish paying off my parents desktop. Yeah, I'm in charge since my mom retired. Dell will probably have it built in. I'm getting the desperate accessories elsewhere like the mouse pad (found a leather one/ ergonomic style and it came with leather covers for the cords ... should have had those long ago because my adaptor cords somehow loosen through the years and the wires could be seen. Next I'm gonna buy a mouse and a ergonomic keyboard. Might also buy a new computer desk, but I dunno. My mom's old work gave her an old computer chair (was top of the line in the 90's) so I'll be using that. I'm done with laptops for now. Only used them when I went to college. Now that I work at home, don't need it.

So we went looking for my Bailey's old records, and we didn't have them. However Cooper my mom's first baby was 100 pounds at just under a year. We are screwed. He's going to hit 200 pounds, easily.

Well our puppy is going to be a big boy. He is 100 pounds!! He's just over 6 months old, his head is table height and he has gigantic sized paws.

@CooperHChurch That's awesome! What breed is he again? I never had a dog because my parents didn't want one plus growing up we lived in a milatary base that doesn't like animals in the yard.

Well I am officially in the home stretch too graduation. I am officially in what is considered my last semester at UCF. I completed my degree program in just 1 year. The only summer course that I will be taking in 2024 will be my capstone course. I am taking 15 credit hours plus my internship orientation and them I do my internship over the summer. So ready to be done, and on to my masters! Or Medical school.

@CooperHChurch Congratulations Cooper! Good Luck on your internship and may you enjoy! I did two when I was young. One was a teaching practicum, (I was considering becoming an elementary teacher but it didn't work out well) and did a medical assisting internship in a hospital ... it was alright is all I can say. The weird thing is that after I left that hospital was featured on the news cause an altercation broke out there and someone got shot. Scary!

Today is December 2nd... It's my traumaversary. My acciversary. It's so hard to think that 8 years ago today I ended up being in a fatal accident, one that nearly killed me. One that had the driver the school bus had flinched it could have flipped in that ditch and been a whole lot worse. It feels like yesterday, and it feels like forever. The trauma is always there, December 2nd I just want to cry, because I don't remember December 1st or much after my accident, just fragments. So much of my life was taken away, nearly a year of memories, relationships I had formed over the first 3 months of school. Heck, I had a guy in my grade who was flirting with me in geometry class, he didn't come back to school after christmas, and after my accident people talked about him and all I could say was "who?". I don't remember him.
Grieving for who I was is part of the process. Having increased anxiety and wanting to avoid getting in a car is one of those things that happens today. How all I can do is worry. Soon, it wil pass, I just need to get past christmas.

My 65 pound puppy - yes I said puppy, he's 22 weeks old, decided he wanted to take me on a run this evening for his evening walk.
As a newfy he can pull 10 times his body weight. That means he had 650 pounds of pull behind him. And probably a lot of torque to.
To put that into perspective a 160 pound newfy can pull 1600 pounds. Just two can pull a truck. 500 newfies weighing 160 pounds could pull a max weight 747.

Stressing out right now. My grandma is in the ICU right now with a infecting caused by a kidney shunt which is attacking her heart. Looking to transfer her to Orlando Health.

@CooperHChurch Hi! Hopr your grandma recovers soon! My aunt (my dad's cousin) who suffered a stroke last month is slowly recovering according to my cousin. He begged her to start eating bit by bit and Aunt is doing just that. It's a good sign! Take Care!
