@DEliza90 I'd love to see Heartfire in print one day, but right now, Wattpad holds the print rights. They did try shopping it out to Random Penguin House and another publisher but there was no interest. I might look into self-publishing it next year. It needs some revision first.

@Elementro I have a couple on Amazon (polished copies of Upon Wings of Change, A New Beginning, and Looking To Belong). Some of Mercedes Lackey's books are similar to mine (The hunter series is good). A few have said Anne Mccaffery is also close.

@kizzararsiz The Paid Stories program has shifted a bit over the years, but right now, once you get into the Wattpad Creators group, you can "pitch" stories ideas to Wattpad (if accepted, they give a bit of help editing and will discuss paywalls). https://creators.wattpad.com/programs-and-opportunities/wattpad-creators-program/

Do you have advice for a first time writer? I’m currently trying to write my first novel and it’s an apocalyptic type zombie deal. I have a general plot outline as well as chapters posted but I’d like advice from a successful write like yourself

@LMFinn I'll see if I can find some time to look at your story later (feel free to DM me a reminder since it's year-end where I work, so things are much busier than usual). I only opened and scrolled through a chapter for most of the other authors, and since they had very basic English problems, like proper use of paragraphs and dialogue, my usual recommendation of "please see my writing guide" was my best recommendation. But you seem to have mastered those details, so I'd have to do more than a 1-minute skim. And your story seems interesting.
