I was asked my priorities between Monster Hunter World Iceborne and Dark Souls 3 Fire Fades Edition on which took first priority. Allow me to explain why is was Dark Souls 3-
In Dark Souls 3, the hardest boss is a blind dragon named Midir. His weakest point is his head and just about every attack has potential to one shot you. While this isn't surprising for a Souls game, Midir was in a whole different league especially for first time Souls players. I spent countless hours in the game, mainly trying to get to the Ringed City to fight Midir. He took me 7 tries, by myself, to accomplish. I was up the entire night analyzing his movements. But I beat him.
Now the hardest fight in all of Monster Hunter World is Fatalis, the Black Dragon. He deal insane damage even when he just walks across the arena. He has the highest health pool of any monster, in his assigned quest you have to deal a third of his health just to trigger a cutscene to have people help you kill him, and you only get 30 minutes to put his ass down. I beat him fairly recently after two months. Yeah you heard me. TWO WHOLE ASS MONTHS! Why did it take so long? In addition to his health pool, he has the DUMBEST damage reduction numbers and damage output. I'm talking burn through all of your faints for that quest within the first 7 minutes. I had to break into my Souls mindset of analysis and evasion just to finally get to where I could have help. That beast racks up more kills than a Call of Duty aimbot.
