Some Spider-Man reader books I've read be missing certain key components at times, it's the Friendly Neighborhood aspect like how the people react to the Spider-Person, the normal things like saving cats from trees & helping old women cross the street instead of dealing with villains and bank robberies all the time, just helping out kids, and so many more I could list off.
Yes, fanfics are free to do things different, that's totally fine. But to me, that is what makes Spider-Man, well, Spider-Man.

@DrVash That's actually something that I try to incorporate into my stories, the day to day and helping the little guy. Or just simply giving a lot of fluff between bombastic battles.
